6　Protective Iron Parts and Operating Platform of Coke Oven

6.1　General Requirement

6.1.1　For the installation of coke oven body equipment，two construction technologies of building before installation of buckstays（hearafter referred to as Class A）and installing buckstays before building（hearafter referred to as Class B）may be adopted.

6.1.2　Before the installation of equipment，the measuring result of the previous working procedure is subjected to the check of actual measurement，simultaneously，the longitidinal and lateral center lines of coke oven bank，the center line of the side coking chamber，the installation datum lines of front lines on machine and coke sides and the center line of flue shall be set，and the perpetual central target and datum mark shall be embedded（Figure 6.1.2）.
