Section one: History

开滦赵各庄矿是由清末民初民族实业家周学熙于1906年创办的一座具有百年历史的煤矿。

Zhaogezhuang Coal Mine in Kailuan is a 100 year old coal mine founded by Zhou Xuexi，a national industrialist in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.

110年的蹉跎岁月，开滦赵各庄矿保留了大量上世纪工业遗迹，见证了开滦赵各庄矿发展历程和中国煤炭工业发展变革，是近代煤炭工业发展史的重要标志，积淀了深厚独特的煤炭工业文化。

After 110 years of wasted time，Zhaogezhuang Coal Mine in Kailuan has retained a large number of industrial relics of the last century，witnessed the development process of Zhaogezhuang Coal Mine in Kailuan and the development and reform of China's Coal industry.It is an important symbol of the development history of modern coal industry and has accumulated profound and unique coal industry culture.

110年风雨兼程，涌现的典型人物故事，积淀形成了开滦赵各庄矿 “顾全大局、百折不挠、敢于为首，追求不渝”的光荣传统和企业精神。

Through 110 years of trials and hardships，typical characters' stories have emerged here，which has formed the glorious tradition and industrial spirit of “take the whole situation into consideration，persistence，dare to lead and pursue unswervingly” of the miners in Zhaogezhuang Coal Mine in Kailuan.

著名的抗日英雄节振国，积极参与开滦五矿同盟大罢工，刀劈鬼子兵、杀汉奸，威震冀东大地，留下了许多可歌可泣的事迹，成为开滦工人阶级的宝贵财富。

Jie Zhenguo，a famous Anti Japanese hero，took an active part in the general strike of Kailuan Minmetals Alliance.He slashed devils and soldiers and killed traitors，which shocked the East of Hebei Province.He left many touching stories and became the precious wealth of Kailuan working class.

李长振，20世纪50年代首创的 “单人支柱”操作法，曾在全国煤炭系统广泛推广。1956年以开滦矿工身份参加了中共第八次全国代表大会，受到党和国家领导人的亲切接见，是开滦矿工中最早的全国党代会代表。

Li Changzhen，the first “single pillar” operation method，which was widely promoted in the national coal system in the 1950s.In 1956，he attended the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China as a miner in Kailuan.He was cordially received by the leaders of CPC and the state.He was the earliest representative of the National Party Congress among Kailuan miners.

侯占友，全国著名劳动模范，20世纪70年代，为缓解当时全国煤炭的紧张状况，为了多出煤，他连班加点，不计报酬，经常自带干粮，吃住在井下。1975年5月25日，新华社播发的长篇通讯中，称侯占友为 “地球转一圈，他转一圈半，地球转两圈，他上三个班”的 “矿山铁汉”。

Hou Zhanyou，a well-known model worker in China，in the 1970s，in order to ease the national coal shortage at that time and to produce more coal，he worked overtime without pay and often brought his own food and lived underground.On May 25th，1975，the Xinhua News Agency broadcast a long news，calling Hou Zhanyou a “mining iron man” with “one and a half circles of the earth，two circles of the earth，and three classes”.

Section three: Revitalization

为进一步保护开发工业遗产，助推企业转型发展，开滦赵各庄矿深入挖掘整合矿区红色党史资源，致力于开发红色旅游资源，积极打造爱国主义教育基地，充分利用工业建筑遗产及洋房子资源，开发工业旅游及影视拍摄基地，凸显开滦赵各庄矿百年历史价值。

In order to further protect and develop the industrial heritage and boost the transformation and development of enterprises，Zhaogezhuang Coal Mine in Kailuan deeply excavates and integrates the red party history resources in the mining area，devotes itself to developing red tourism resources，actively builds a patriotism education base，makes full use of industrial architectural heritage and foreign house resources，develops industrial tourism and film and television shooting base，highlighting the 100 year historical value of Zhaogezhuang Coal Mine in Kailuan.
