How to do it…

1. Once started, Magnet Acquire looks for connected devices and displays their list in the window.

1. Click on the NEXT button. The next window will prompt you to select the type of extraction. Select Full if the connected Android device is rooted. Otherwise, select Quick.

1. Click on the NEXT button. If necessary, fill in the Evidence folder name, Folder destination, Image name, Examiner, and Evidence number fields.

1. Click on the ACQUIRE button. The process of data extraction from the device will start.

1. When the data is extracted from the device, click on the EXIT button to close the program. If you want to go to the folder with the extracted data, click on OPEN FOLDER.
