Configuring Windows 10 for additional regional and language support

It has never been easier and more convenient to add a second preferred language to your PC in addition to the default language, or to make Windows localization in the second preferred language by adding the language pack. With that in mind, to add the second preferred language and the language pack, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Start button and click Settings in the Start menu.
  2. Click the Time & Language option and in the left and side navigation menu, click Region & language.
  3. In the Preferred languages section, click Add a language.
  4. In the Choose a language to install screen, either select Type a language name or scroll down to choose a preferred language.
  5. Once you choose the preferred language, click Next and on the Install language features screen, click Install.

 

  1. Once the installation completes, the added second preferred language is shown, as can be seen in Figure 2.9:
