Managing tabs in Microsoft Edge

In the Configuring Microsoft Edge section of this chapter, it was said that Microsoft Edge offers a whole new way of working with the browser when compared to Internet Explorer. Such an approach is also expressed through tabs.

To show tab previews in Microsoft Edge, complete the following steps:

1. In the upper part of the Microsoft Edge window, locate the Show tab previews button next to the New tabs button.
2. Click the Show tab previews button and the tabs will be previewed, as shown in the following screenshot:

To set tabs aside in Microsoft Edge, complete the following steps:

1. At the top-left corner of the Microsoft Edge window, locate the Set these tabs aside button next to the Tabs you've set aside button.
2. Click the Set these tabs aside button to set aside groups of tabs for later viewing.
3. To display the tabs that you have already set aside, click the Tabs you've set aside button on the far top-left corner of the browser.
4. Click on any thumbnail to individually restore that particular web page or you can click the Restore tabs link located above the thumbnails to restore all tabs, as shown in the following screenshot:
