Version history
To view all of the versions of an app, navigate to the Apps list on your PowerApps portal. This can be found by clicking the Apps link on the left hand, which will allow you to find your apps quite easily. Once you have your list of apps on the screen, you can click the ellipsis (...) to the right of your app to bring up the menu:
Once the app details are on the screen, we can review the version history of our app by selecting Versions from the horizontal menu bar:
The Versions page is particularly useful because we can see what version of the app we are currently editing and see what is live. A PowerApp isn't considered live until it has been published. We can save apps in the draft, safe in the knowledge that only the creator and other editors can see the draft versions when editing. If we were to use the app ourselves, we would still be using the last published version, which is indicated as Live in the published column:
Also, much like version control has been made available within SharePoint, we have the ability to restore a previous version, so should we ever need to roll back, we can do so. When we restore a previous version, a new version of the app will be created and will become the latest draft. It will not go Live until we have gone back into the app and published it.
Now that we have made our app live, we need to make it as easy as possible for our users to be able to access it. One way to do that is through SharePoint Online.
