1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This Code is formulated with a view to implement national energy strategies and standardize the design，installation，operation and maintenance of energy measuring and monitoring facilities and equipment in the iron and steel enterprises.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to the design and installation of energy measuring and monitoring facilities and equipment for new and renovation projects in the iron and steel enterprises.

1.0.3　The design and installation of energy measuring and monitoring facilities and equipment in the iron and steel enterprises shall conform to current relevant standards of the nation in addition to the requirements stipulated in this code.
