1　General

1.0.1　This Code is developed to unify the technical specification for the plan，design，construction for the pipelines coordination in petrochemical plant and the general survey of the underground pipeline，to achieve appropriate arrangement，safety and reliability，advanced technology，justifiable economics and convenient management.

1.0.2　This Code is applicable for the plan，design，construction of the utility pipelines and process pipelines coordination for new construction，reconstruction or extension projects，the exploration for the underground pipelines，and the establishment and application of pipelines coordination information management system，and it is also current applicable to the coordination of pipelines inside of the oil/gas field and oil/gas transmission project stations.The Code is not applicable to the design and construction of pipelines coordination ISBL（Inside Battery Limit）of the process units，utilities and storage&transportation facilities.

1.0.3　This Code specifies the basic technical requirements of pipelines coordination in petrochemical plant.In case of any conflicts between this Code and national laws，administrative rules and regulations，applicable national laws，administrative rules and regulations shall govern.

1.0.4　For the plan，design and construction of pipelines coordination in petrochemical plant and exploration of underground pipeline，and establishment and application of pipelines coordination information management system，All the following should be done in accordance with this Code and the current relevant national code as well.
